About Us

Precious In His Sight, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt ministry that was created in response to James 1:27 – “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

~ Our vision is to see every orphan come to know the love of their Heavenly Father through the care of a Christian family.

~ Our mission is to Educate, Encourage & Equip Christian families to reach orphans around the world; domestically & internationally.

EDUCATE Christians about God’s heart for orphans, the current orphan crisis in the world today, and how they participate in reaching orphans with the love of our Heavenly Father.
ENCOURAGE Christians by providing opportunities for them to make personal connections with orphans while seeking God regarding their role in orphan ministry, whether adoption, orphan care, or financial support.
EQUIP Christian families with resources and tools to enable them to follow God’s call to care for orphans, including financial support for those called to adopt.

We have a desire to shine light on the orphan crisis by helping the Christians in our community see that each orphan has a name and a face. Once people are personally touched by a child’s life, they develop a heart to see that child have a family! The ultimate hope for each child is that they would receive the same gift of adoption that we ourselves received when God adopted us as His sons & daughters. Even those children who for various reasons cannot be adopted, need to be connected to a family through prayer, encouragement & support so that they may be introduced to our Heavenly Father. God is truly moving on the hearts of people in our area (and all over the country) to help orphans. We are so excited to be a part of what God is doing!
